Fourth Day - Advent Blog
Ok! this is a cheat ( I may have even posted a picture of this little chap before) I took the picture when we went to Wales in the summer, but I thought that it was appropriate. I do have Robins in my garden but they are not that easy to photograph this one was really very friendly. Yesterday I sat for ages watching a very vicious Robin keeping other birds away from the bird feeder, it hid amongst the leaves of a climbing plant and when the other birds flew onto the feeder it flew out scaring them away.

Ok. So I talk to myself and you talk to Robins. Is there much of a difference?
ReplyDeleteI just like to think we have very active minds.
It's amazing that such a cute little creature can be so ferocious.
ReplyDeleteI have some very territorial robins in my garden! They really rule the roost!
ReplyDeleteI wish I'd had my camera out yesterday at the garden centre - there was one sat right on top of a Christmas tree!
I adore robins - they epitomise an english winter, and christmas, of course!
ReplyDeleteThey're so feisty aren't they? It's one of the reasons I love them in a way - that and their singing throughout the winter.
ReplyDeleteWhen I went up north, I saw 10 hummingbirds a day!
